Szószóló Consulting Centre of Patients’ Rights

The Szószóló Foundation established its consulting centre of patients’ rights in June 2002, with the aim of helping citizens to become aware of their rights related to health care.

The Consulting Centre

• assists people in finding solutions to their problems, in locating the responsible bodies and organizations and entering into relations with them
• keeps in close touch with patients rights advocates working in Hungary and provides them with assistance in their work whenever possible
• in order to perform its work efficiently and for the purpose of mutual consultation and assistance, The Centre maintains continuous and intensive relations with all organisations concerned in questions of patients’ rights.

Monthy held Professional Consultation Day offers a forum for the advocates where they can get to know each other better, establish working relationships, and exchange their experiences. This forum also offers them the possibility to discuss their most problematic cases together.
